It’s been a fair minute since I’ve sat down to write a blog post here, and this one gets me excited! There’s nothing better about being a photographer than spontaneous things happening at just the right time. Over the past weekend, I travelled to Tampa, Florida to attend a wedding. Little did I know, as soon as I got off the plane, we were about to experience the best sunset in weeks.

I have been to Florida three different times now to complete Kim and Scott’s Engagement photos, which you can find here. The first few times we had wanted to get sunset photos on the beach at Honeymoon Island, their wedding venue location. After multiple attempts with horrible weather, on Thursday night, it was 70 degrees and sunny.

We rushed to Honeymoon Island to capture some first look and sunset photos since we knew the night of the wedding, it’d be pouring down with rain. Little did we know, we’d get graced with an amazing sunset, and even better photos.
